Special Thank-you to Joe White, commander of the Gainesville, TX, Sons of Confederate Veterans,
Lee-Bourland Camp. Joe showed me the hanging site and many other Civil War related locations in Gainesville. I live a few miles down the Red River (Oklahoma side) from Joe and will be going back to Gainesville soon for some photos of those CW sites.
