(3-01) Plain Gables. Built
1830's by William S. Bodley, a lawyer and brother of Dr. Hugh Bodley who
became town hero when he was killed in a confrontation with gamblers
(3-02) Ferguson House, Old Highway 27, one mile
south of the Vicksburg National Military Park visitors center. First
served as a headquarters then as the hospital for McClernand's Corps
during the siege
