(2007) Fort Lyon
 
Located on the peak of Cumberland Mountain, Confederate Fort Lyon overlooked Virginia and Tennessee, while Fort Rains (Confederate name)/Fort McCook (Union name) overlooked Kentucky

(2007) Fort McCook
 
Located halfway up the mountain, this fort had good coverage of the near valley, and into the Middlesboro Basin. Fort McCook was occupied by both Confederate and Union troops during the war
