As of December 1, 2002, Honey Springs Battlefield Historic Site is near completion, with six interpretive trails open to the public. Four of the six trails are graveled, and the majority of the interpretive markers have been installed. Marker stands are in place on a short spur off of Trail 4. The information tablets will be attached soon. The dedication of the temporary interpretive center will be in July, 2002.
